It’s almost that time again – standardized testing is right around the corner. We
will be administering the CMAS Assessment starting April 9th. You play an
important part in helping students give their best performance on this important
test. As you know, we have been busy preparing and reinforcing the skills
necessary for students to demonstrate their learning. Even though this
assessment is a snapshot—one single perspective – it is important that our
students have every advantage to do their very best. We don’t want to cause
test anxiety, rather we want our students to be as prepared as possible. There are many ways in which you can help your child put his/her best foot forward.
Life of a Lion for the week of April 1. Have a great week.

With the current and forecasted conditions, Swink School will be canceling the full day of school on Monday, March 25.
Enjoy the extended spring break.
Swink School will start with a two-hour delay on Monday, March 25. No Breakfast. Please stay tuned for an announcement about the remainder of the day.
Welcome back from Spring Break. Here is the Life of a Lion for the Week of March 25.
With the closure for three days before spring break due to the increase in illnesses, Swink School will need to make up additional hours to stay in compliance with CDE and state statute. To achieve this, starting Monday, March 25, Swink School will extend the school day by 15 minutes with dismissal at 4:15 pm. Additionally, school will be held on Friday, May 17. Thank you for your understanding and we hope everyone returns on Monday healthy from a long spring break.
